Later, when you are ready.

Local Play lets friends play together on one WiFi. After a match, you can say thanks. Friends you meet often become Rivals.

In short: Open Local Play on the same WiFi as your friends. After a match, send Respect to say thanks.

How it works

1. Everyone joins the same WiFi or hotspot.
2. Tap MULTIPLAYER, then LOCAL PLAY.
3. The game looks for a host for a few seconds.
4. If it finds none, your phone becomes the host.
5. The host picks the mode, the map, and the match length.
6. Every player picks a role.
7. The host presses START GAME.
8. At the end, press RESPECT to send a reaction.
9. Respect adds up and raises your Popularity.
10. After 3 matches with one person, they become a Rival.
11. If the host leaves, a new host can take over.

Example

Mia taps MULTIPLAYER and then LOCAL PLAY.
No host answers, so her phone becomes the host.
Leo opens LOCAL PLAY on the same WiFi. He sees Found a game! Connecting...

Mia picks 1 VS 1, Grassland, and QUICK. Mia picks FIRE. Leo picks WATER.
Mia presses START GAME.

After round 8, Leo sends Mia GG. Mia sends back Great Duel!.
They played one match together, so they are not Rivals yet.

Tip: Open LOCAL PLAY on every phone. You need no Host button.

Local Play detail	Rule
Version	All phones need the same game version, or you see Please update the game to play together.
Starting	START GAME works when everyone has arrived and picked a role.
AI players	They cannot give or get Respect.
A friend leaves	In a two-person match, press CONTINUE VS AI to go on.
Profile card	Tap a name to open it.
What others see	Others see your name, level, Respect, MVP count, and role. They also see your looks and a random ID. They see how many people gave you Respect. Read our Privacy Policy.
