Back to Start Here

Find any button by its screen. Names are shown exactly as they appear in the game. Some buttons show a price or a number in brackets.

Main menu

Button	What it does
Profile bar (name, level, XP, Crowns)	Opens your PROFILE.
MISSIONS	Opens your daily reward and daily missions. A ! shows when a reward is ready.
SHOP	Opens the shop.
EVENT	Opens the weekly event.
SINGLE PLAYER	Lets you pick how many AI enemies to face.
MULTIPLAYER	Opens the multiplayer menu.
ROLES	Opens the role tree screen.
⚙ SETTINGS	Opens the graphics settings.
CLAIM +N CROWNS	Takes your daily reward.
LATER	Closes the daily reward for now.

Choose opponents and stage

Button	What it does
1 AI ENEMY	Plays against one AI player.
2 AI ENEMIES	Plays against two AI players.
3 AI ENEMIES	Plays against three AI players.
QUICK MATCH	A match with a set number of rounds. The richest player wins.
CLASSIC	A match with no round limit. Reach START with 3,000 coins.
Grassland	Starts the match on the Grassland map.
Night Beach	Starts the match on the Night Beach map.
Back	Goes back one screen.

Choose your role (CHOOSE YOUR ROLE)

Button	What it does
FIRE, WATER, EARTH, LIGHTNING, WIND	Pick your role. The screen shows its trap and what it resists.
Trap kind buttons	Show which trap kinds you bring. Your own element is always on.
START	Starts a solo match. It stays off until you pick a role.
OK	Confirms your role in a Local Play lobby.
BACK	Goes back one screen.

Roles screen

Button	What it does
Role buttons	Switch to another role.
ROLE TREE	Shows the upgrade tree for your solo build.
ARENA	Shows the equal build used in Local Play.
ATTACK, DEFENSE, BALANCED	Presets that spend SP for you. The tree screen shows ATT, DEF, BAL.
RESET	Gives back all SP for free after you confirm.
Node buttons	Show one upgrade, with Now: and Next: details.
Ultimate button	Shows the strong upgrade. It reads OWNED or 4 SP.
LEARN	Buys the node level.
CANCEL	Closes the node card.
CLOSE	Leaves the screen.

Multiplayer and Local Play

Button	What it does
LOCAL PLAY	Searches for a room on your WiFi.
TRY AGAIN	Searches again after a failed search or connection.
1 VS 1, 2 PLAYERS + 1 AI, 2 PLAYERS + 2 AI, 3 PLAYERS, 3 PLAYERS + 1 AI, 4 PLAYERS	The host picks who plays.
Grassland, Night Beach	The host picks the map.
QUICK, CLASSIC	The host picks the match length.
MY ROLE: <ROLE>	Opens the role choice for you.
START GAME	The host starts the match.
Back	Leaves the lobby.

Before the match

Button	What it does
HOW TO WIN panel	Shows the win rules for this map and mode.
START GAME	Starts the match.
WATCH AD: FREE CARD	Optional ad button.

During the match: top corner

Button	What it does
⚙	Opens the pause menu.
>>	Speeds up AI turns. It shows only in solo matches.

During the match: your turn

Button	What it does
Roll Dice	Rolls the dice and moves your pawn.
Use Card (n)	Opens your cards. The number is how many you hold.
Set Trap	Opens the trap choices.
Attack Tile (Needs 5 Stars)	Hits an opponent's tile from afar. Needs 5 stars.
Buy Tile	Buys the empty tile you stand on.
Build Tower	Builds a Lv.1 tower on your tile.
Build (Stop Here Again)	A greyed-out Build Tower. Stop on the tile again first.
Upgrade Lv.2	Upgrades your tower to Lv.2.
Upgrade (Stop Here Again)	A greyed-out Upgrade Lv.2. Stop on the tile again first.
Max Tower	Your tower cannot grow more.
Give Up	Pays the full rent to the tile's owner.
Fight	Starts a duel for the tile. It is off while you are paralyzed.
End Turn	Ends your turn.
Floating (End Turn)	Ends your turn while you float in a bubble.
Cancel	Leaves attack mode or the trap list.

Trap choices

Button	What it does
Water Trap (1 Star)	Sets a Water trap here.
Fire Trap (1 Star)	Sets a Fire trap here.
Earth Trap (1 Star, your tile)	Sets an Earth trap on your own tile.
Sacred Earth Trap (FREE)	A free Earth trap for the Earth role's first trap.
Lightning Trap (1 Star)	Sets a Lightning trap here.
Wind Trap (1 Star)	Sets a Wind trap here.
Cancel	Closes the list.

Only the trap kinds you bring appear in the list.

Choose a path

When the road splits, arrow buttons appear. Tap an arrow to choose your way. Other players see a message that says who is choosing.

Pause menu

Button	What it does
GRAPHICS SETTINGS	Opens the graphics settings.
EXIT TO MAIN MENU	Leaves the match. You get no rewards.
RESUME GAME	Goes back to the match.

Banners

Banner	Meaning
GOLD RUSH!	Rent is doubled for a round.
MARKET DAY!	Prices are lower for a round.
EARTHQUAKE!	One tower loses 1 HP.
STAR SHOWER!	Everyone gets 1 star.
BOUNTY!	A bounty element is named.
BOUNTY CLAIMED!	Someone won the bounty.
COMEBACK CARD!	A player gets a Comeback Card.

Duel screen

Button	What it does
FIRE, WATER, EARTH, LIGHTNING, WIND	Tap once to look, tap again to lock your element.
SPIN WHEEL!	Spins your wheel for a number.
🪙 HEADS, 🪙 TAILS	Pick a side for a coin flip after a tied score.
Two name buttons (WHO WINS? TAP ONE!)	Guess the winner of a duel you watch.
WATCH AD: SPIN AGAIN	Optional ad button.
NO THANKS	Skips that offer.

Card screens

Button	What it does
CANCEL	Closes the YOUR CARDS list.
LOW ROLL (1-3) 3 Turns, HIGH ROLL (10-12) 3 Turns, SHIELD (Keep)	Cards you keep. Pick one in YOUR CARDS to play it.
SWORD LV 1, SWORD LV 2, SWORD LV 3	Sword cards. They add attack power to this duel.
NO, SAVE IT	Keeps your sword for later.
Use on Yourself	Plays the dice card on you.
Use on Enemy or Use on P#	Plays the dice card on an opponent.
Cancel	Closes the target choice.

End screen

Button	What it does
RESPECT	Opens the reactions for one person.
GG, Great Duel!, Smart Move!, Good Host!	Sends that reaction. Good Host! goes to the room maker only.
SENT	Shows you already sent a reaction.
WATCH AD: DOUBLE REWARDS	Optional ad button.
WATCH AD: GET REWARDS	Optional ad button.
WATCH AD: +300 COINS	Optional ad button.
NO THANKS	Skips that offer.
EXIT TO MAIN MENU	Returns to the main menu.

When a connection breaks

Button	What it does
CONTINUE VS AI	The AI takes over the player who left.
BECOME HOST	Your phone becomes the new host.
START NOW	The new host restarts with the players who came back.
WAIT FOR PLAYERS	Waits for others to reconnect.
PLAY ALONE VS AI	Continues against AI players.
EXIT TO MAIN MENU	Leaves the match.

Profile, missions, mastery, and event

Button	What it does
SAVE	Saves your new name.
SHOP, MASTERY, RIVALS	Open the shop, your element levels, and your Rival list.
CHANGE	Swaps one unfinished mission. Free once a day.
CLAIM +N CROWNS	Takes your daily reward.
EVENT SHOP	Opens the event items.
CLOSE	Closes the panel.

Shop

Button	What it does
PAWN, TITLE, FRAME, EVENT	Switch between item groups.
BUY	Buys an item with Crowns (or Event Tokens).
EQUIP	Wears an item you own.
EQUIPPED	Shows the item you wear now.
REMOVE ADS	The row for an optional monthly plan. You can cancel it at any time.
SUBSCRIBE	Starts the optional Remove Ads monthly plan.
MANAGE	Opens your plan to change or cancel it.
RESTORE	Brings back a plan you already bought.
CLOSE	Leaves the shop.

Graphics settings

Button	What it does
FPS Counter	Turns the frame counter on or off.
AUTO DETECT (Recommended)	Tests your phone and picks a quality level.
MANUAL	Lets you pick VERY LOW, LOW, MEDIUM, or HIGH.
APPLY NOW	Uses the new quality at once.
QUIT GAME TO APPLY	In a Local Play match, applies the quality after you quit.
Connect Play Games	Signs in to Google Play Games.
Achievements	Opens your Play Games achievements.
Leaderboards	Opens the Play Games leaderboards.
Privacy Options	Opens your privacy choices. It shows only in some regions.
Close	Leaves the screen.
