Short meanings for every special word, in A to Z order.

  • Arena build: The same upgrades every player uses in Local Play.
  • Attacker: The player who lands on an opponent's tile and fights.
  • Award: A prize at the end of a match, like DUEL KING.
  • Board event: A short surprise on the board, like GOLD RUSH!.
  • Bounty: A star prize for the first winner with a named element.
  • Bubble: A Water trap effect. You float and cannot act on tiles.
  • Burning: A Fire trap effect. You lose coins at the start of your turns.
  • Classic: A match with no round limit.
  • Coin flip: Heads or Tails. It settles a tied duel.
  • Coins: The money you use during a match.
  • Comeback Card: A free card for a player who falls far behind.
  • Crowns: The reward money for your account. You spend it in the SHOP.
  • Defender: The owner of the tile that gets attacked.
  • Duel: A fight for a tile, won by element and luck.
  • Element: One of FIRE, WATER, EARTH, LIGHTNING, or WIND.
  • Element Bonus: Extra points for the element that wins the match-up.
  • Event Tokens: Weekly event money. It never expires.
  • Frame: A decoration for your profile card.
  • Gem: A treasure on a gem tile. You collect it by walking over it.
  • Guard: A top-level defense that blocks the first trap of one kind.
  • Guess Duel: A guess about who wins, made by a watcher.
  • Hand: The cards you hold. You can hold three.
  • HP: A tile's strength. Land has 3, Tower Lv.1 has 4, Lv.2 has 5.
  • Level: Your account level. It grows with XP.
  • Local Play: Multiplayer on the same WiFi or hotspot.
  • Mastery: Your skill level with one element, from 1 to 10.
  • MVP: The player with the most awards in a match.
  • Node: One upgrade in a role tree.
  • Paralyzed: A Lightning trap effect. You skip your next turn.
  • Pawn: Your game piece. Pawn looks change its color.
  • Popularity: Your level of fame, built from Respect.
  • Preset: A ready plan that spends your SP for you.
  • Quick Match: A match with a set number of rounds.
  • Rent: Coins you pay when you land on an opponent's tile.
  • Respect: A thank-you reaction you send after a Local Play match.
  • Rival: A person you have played with in at least 3 matches.
  • Role: The element you play in a match.
  • Role Level: How far one role has grown. Playing that role raises it.
  • Round: One turn for every player.
  • Salary: Coins and stars you get when you pass START.
  • Scattered coins: Coins blown onto the board by a Wind trap.
  • SP: Skill points you spend on nodes.
  • Stars: A second kind of points. Traps and Attack Tile use them.
  • START: The first tile of the board. Every lap starts and ends here.
  • Sword card: A card that adds attack power in a duel.
  • Tile: One square of the board. You can own it.
  • Title: A short name under your name, like Tile Hunter.
  • Tower: A building on your tile. It has Lv.1 and Lv.2.
  • Trap: A hidden danger on a tile. It hits an opponent who walks over it.
  • Ultimate: A strong upgrade that only one role can learn.
  • Weekly event: A set of special missions that lasts one week.
  • Wheel: A spinning wheel that gives a number in a duel.
  • XP: Experience points. They raise your level.
